Situated northeast of Malaysia and Indonesia in between the South China and Philippine Seas are a group of 7000 islands that comprise the nation of the Philippines. According to the 2004 census, more than 82 million Filipino residents inhabit these islands and the population is expected to climb exponentially. According to the Manila Times eighty-five percent of the population is Roman Catholic and a growing number are poor making less than 1 US dollar a day. In 2003 an estimated 40% was classified as living below the poverty line. But the country has a rich and vibrant history and the people are hungry for more than what life there has to offer them. It is because of these factors that we see a need to reach out and touch the lives of Filipinos with the Gospel. |
 We are two years and nine months in the ministry!!! Time has flown by quickly. In the past several months we have seen our dream blossom into a reality. What started out as a small gathering of about 20 believers in the small living room of my sisters house, has now become a church of over 120 attendees.
